The Uprising

Waxing moon
Fires are burning on the land. Nothing seems to unite the people anymore, except their urge to fight with each other and against the rulers. Many do it for honorable causes, but in dishonorable ways. An uprising like this during this phase can originate an atypical lunar cycle, that can plunge the land into darkness. Some are happy in their fight, unaware of danger.

Full moon
In nights like this, people used to go outside and gather, dancing to music under the Great Goddess in its full form. Now it is not possible anymore. Some musicians play intimate melodies at their homes. Other bards do it inside their caves. Their loved ones dance to the music, spirited for a moment.
"It's been a long time
since we lost eternity.
Can forgetting the illness
give us new strength?
Will the celestial choirs sing of freedom?
Will they sing of cure?
Will the wild trees on the land sing along?"

Waning moon
They feel the call. The call to unleash the beast. Without an opportunity to discharge, growth during the waning of the Great Goddess can be very dangerous. An uncontrollable growth towards evil, creating monsters within.

When There Is No Moon

New moon
A miserable being, lurking in the dark. Waiting, as hell continues unleashing all around, during the darkest of nights. Is all hope lost? Tomorrow we will know. There will be death and ruin. But will there be rebirth?

(bonus track)
"It's confusing
to see the colored flowers
while we remain
empty feeling.
Has the air
polluted our hearts so hard
that now that it's clean
they forget how to beat?
And now I'm waiting for it
to end or change,
but if we remember well
everything has felt like an end.
I appreciate the silence
but hate these sudden noises
Didn't expect saturation
in these circumstances.
The storms will go away
and gift us with meaning.
We will finally feel
a sense of beginning."
