As the title suggests, this is a collection of "outcasts" (except for the first track, "Rainia, the Land at Our Feet"). That is, a collection of songs that either were left behind along the way, or appeared in compilations but won't fit in the next album. Track 6 is a sequel to "Forest Journey" from the Tunes From Hidden Places of Pichania EP.
